From the moment we stepped into the open-air terminal, we were greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The airport's design beautifully encapsulates the mid-century charm of Palm Springs with its modernist architecture and chic decor. The icing on the cake? You can soak up the glorious desert sunshine while you wait for your flight, thanks to the airport's stunning outdoor waiting areas (though, we were there first thing in the morning).
The airport staff were friendly and efficient, making our check-in process and security checks quick and hassle-free. Clear plus PreCheck meant there was no line and no wait. The amenities, though not abundant, were more than sufficient for the airport's size. There were a handful of stores where you could pick up travel essentials or souvenirs, and a few restaurants and cafes offering a range of food options.
