The World of Hyatt Credit Card and the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless are both Chase cards with the same annual fee, and each gives an anniversary free night. The difference is in how that night is capped, how much elite credit each card adds, and where each card earns its highest rate.

This comparison covers the annual fee and free night, topping up a Marriott free night, elite status and night credits, earn rates, Chase Ultimate Rewards transfers, the hotel footprint each page describes, welcome offers, and who each card fits. Which one fits depends on where you stay, not on a single winner.

Our own free tracker, RewardTracker.io, lets you track two cards free; a one-time $10 unlock adds the rest of the catalog on that account.
