Exploring the Vegan Culinary Delights of Costa Adeje, Tenerife
When you visit Costa Adeje in Tenerife, you’ll find yourself surrounded by plenty of culinary delights. If you look around there are plenty of vegan options for travelers like us. Our three favorite restaurants in the area were: Niu Cafe Puerto Colon, Torviscas Spice Village, and Tierra Cafe. Read on to learn more about these delicious eateries!
Niu Cafe Puerto Colon
Niu Cafe Puerto Colon is a Thai restaurant. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and inviting—perfect for enjoying a leisurely lunch with friends or family. The restaurant is located on the lower level of the complex, next to the Spar grocery store. We ordered green curry, and it was delicious.
Torviscas Spice Village
If you’re looking for a more upscale dining experience, then make sure to check out Torviscas Spice Village. This Indian restaurant serves up some of the best curries around! Their chefs use fresh ingredients and authentic spices for every dish they prepare—guaranteeing that each bite is full of flavor. Be sure to ask which dishes can be made vegan. The staff was very knowledgeable on the topic. We ended up going here 3 out of the 4 nights we were on the island. It was located right next to our hotel, Iberostar Selection Sábila.
Tierra Cafe
Tierra Cafe is another great option for vegan diners looking for something delicious in Costa Adeje. Located just steps away from the beach, Tierra Cafe offers a variety of plant-based dishes as well as smoothies, juices, and desserts that are all made with locally sourced ingredients. We love their coffee, avocado toast, and deserts—they are bursting with flavor!
